Who is driving?

You always know who on board the vehicle

The identification (or authentication) of the driver and possible passengers on board the company vehicle is some of the information available thanks to the TEXA TMD system.

The identification can take place through a company badge (or dedicated badge) or an App that must be installed in the smartphone supplied to the employee: this allows use of the company fleet to authorised personnel only.

This way you always know who is using a vehicle in a certain moment and you are alerted in real time in case of non-authorised use.
A system that is very useful for optimising the management of fines.

This allows the following benefits:

  • Receive real time alerts regarding unauthorised use of the vehicle (event that can also be configured as possible theft)
  • Allow the use of the vehicles to authorised people only (if the driver is not authorised, the vehicle does not start)
  • Create a subset of drivers enabled to use exclusively a specific subset of vehicles in the company fleet
  • Constantly know who is driving the vehicles and who are the passengers (ex. team members on a mission)
  • Attribute the administrative sanctions (fine)
  • Know the identity of the driver who last used the vehicle
  • Know which vehicles a single driver used regarding a specific time interval (ex. during the last month)
